The Authority is pleased to invite comment on the first draft version of the revised reporting forms and form completion guidance under the new Basel II Policy Handbook, the 'Revised Framework for Regulatory Capital Assessment'.

The Authority has also issued an amended version of the draft Basel II Policy Handbook. This paper is unchanged from the paper issued in February 2008 with the exception that market risk rules have now been included as Sub-Part D. It should be noted that the reqauthorityuirements for market risk remain largely unchanged from those introduced by the Basel Committee in 1996 and more recently incorporated into the Authority's regime.
