ColinaImperial Insurance Ltd. has opened a new branch office that will provide added convenience for its clients on the island of Exuma.

The official opening ceremony took place yesterday although the office, located on the second floor of the Turnquest Star Center building, has been in operation for a number of months. ColinaImperial announced at the time that it plans to add two additional sales persons to the Exuma Office, complementing the existing 4-person staff.

Dashwell Flowers, Vice President of Sales at ColinaImperial Ltd., says opening the branch in Exuma was "another step in cementing ColinaImperial's relationship with the island," as the insurance company has been in Exuma for many years and has more than 1,200 policyholders throughout the Exumas.

At the opening celebrations, Montgomery Braithwaite, President of ColinaImperial Ltd., assured the residents of Exuma that the company is there for the long haul. "All the services that are available in Nassau are available in Exuma. We are going to continue to build this company into something of which we all can be very proud.”

ColinaImperial Insurance Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Colina Holdings Bahamas Ltd., a publicly-traded company majority owned by AF Holdings Ltd. and over 2,500 Bahamian shareholders.
